Meet Dr. Judy Chou
Dr. Judy Chou is a pediatric dentist who started her life Los Angeles, California and moved her way up the west coast, spending most of her adolescence near Portland, Oregon and continuing north to complete her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington. She then decided to undertake her dental education at NYU College of Dentistry in Manhattan, followed by two additional years of specialty pediatric training at Yale New Haven Hospital.
However, her gravitation towards the pediatric population started long before her involvement in dentistry. She had spent a summer as an English teacher on a small island off the coast of Taiwan and provided healthcare and education to underserved children in Lima, Peru. In addition to her global endeavors, she is experienced are instructor and swim coach and volunteered as a tutor for minority youth in Washington.
She is excited to continue her work serving the children of the Connecticut community by delivering outstanding care tailored to the unique needs of each child. as an advocate for conservative treatment, she believes that positive oral habits are initiated in childhood and that the key to fostering happy, healthy smiles is through laughter and prevention.
